Bonnie Morad's Profile

Bonnie was born and raised in Alaska, where she grew up commercial fishing, hunting, skiing, and enjoying the outdoors. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Earth and Environmental Science from Alaska Pacific University, she worked throughout Alaska, from the oil fields of the Arctic Slope to Southeast Alaska and the Aleutian Islands. Her career eventually took her to Washington, D.C., where she lived and worked for 10 years before returning to Alaska.

In 2020, Bonnie relocated to Wilmington, North Carolina. Despite arriving just days before the world entered lockdown, she quickly discovered a warm and welcoming community filled with friendly people and a relaxed coastal lifestyle. While the area's beautiful beaches and mild climate initially attracted her, it was Wilmington's unique architecture and rich history that convinced her to call it home. From grand waterfront estates to the historic buildings lining downtown streets, she appreciates the character and charm found throughout the region.
